Mental acuity of the individuals in the top tiers of our government.
I am increasingly ponderous of the my belief that we have a non-trivial number of elected officials (that we know of) who are less-than-capable of doing the job we need because they are incapacitated by mental loss or chemical misuse.
I think Congress, the President, Vice President, and top judges ought to pass mental acuity and drug tests regularly.
Self-diagnosis, admission, and bowing out in a timely manner does not seem to work.
